TA Realty - Newport Beach, CA

Based on our on-going relationship with TA Realty, Fusion was provided the opportunity to design their Newport Beach, California location. After collaborating on their corporate headquarters in Boston, we had a strong understanding of their collaborative culture.

A central café / lounge was strategically located to act as a connection point between two sides of the office, encouraging chance encounters and collaboration between all employees. This shared space also boasts the best views of the Pacific.

Floor to ceiling windows allowed natural light and panoramic views of the surrounding Newport landscape to take center stage. We employed a neutral, warm palette to create an inviting space but also to compliment the cool tones reflected in the surrounding views. The intent was to create a timeless space with areas of interest through texture, interesting forms, and classic materials.

A custom signage wall greets the team and guests upon entry, with repeated elements of marble, black frame system and walnut wood, this entry sets the tone for the rest of the space. Just behind reception, the central cafe encourages the team to sit together with a custom island that has seating on both sides. Adjacent to that in the lounge, employees have access to a large sectional and AV wall that gives the team a less formal way to connect with teammates at other TA Realty offices.
