Skyhook

Fusion Design Consultants Inc. was engaged by Skyhook for the relocation of their office to a 4th floor 7,469 SF suite in the Seaport. Skyhook is a global location network that specializes in location technology and intelligence. 

A key goal of the project was to create a flexible and functional space that supports collaboration but also provides privacy. We accomplished this by creating an open office with three large conference rooms, private phone booths and flexible collaboration areas.

The project began as a shell space with exposed brick and beam that we incorporated into the final design to highlight and accentuate the classic Boston architecture.

Skyhook's new space features a large café and lounge area complete with a ping-pong table to encourage camaraderie and interaction among employees. The open office is covered with idea-paint walls accented with Skyhook branding, a mix of sit and stand workstations and large windows that let in plenty of natural light.

The result is the perfect mix of classic Boston architecture and modern design.
