John Kelly is the founder and president of Fusion Design Consultants, Inc., a firm renowned for its innovative approach to architectural interiors. Drawing on a global perspective shaped by years of living and working internationally, John infuses every engagement with a unique blend of creativity, practicality, and cultural awareness. Under his leadership, Fusion partners with tenants, landlords, and developers to craft dynamic, functional spaces that truly reflect each client’s vision and goals.

With experience spanning boutique studios and large-scale global firms, John leads with both agility and strategic insight. He is passionate about building strong, lasting relationships and is dedicated to design that leaves a meaningful impact—on people, businesses, and the built environment.

John graduated from the Hull School of Architecture in the UK. Outside of work, he enjoys a rich family life with his wife Christy and their daughters Sadie, Lacie, and Jemma. A keen traveler and avid golfer, John values the balance between personal and professional pursuits and relishes a good, thought-provoking conversation.

A Syracuse University graduate, Jennifer has over 30 years of experience in corporate workplace design.  She has guided clients in the greater Boston and national markets on all aspects of interior design projects from concept to completion.  Jennifer also works closely with the Fusion design team to ensure quality standards, budgets and timelines are met.  In addition, she has strong relationships with commercial real estate brokers, asset managers, and property managers built on her solid reputation for responsiveness and attention to detail.

When not at work, Jennifer spends as much time as possible at the beach with her husband, daughter and rescue pup. If not at the beach, she enjoys playing tennis, workout classes and exploring great restaurants.

Principal & Partner

Seong is a Principal at Fusion and has more than two decades of professional experience in architectural and interior design. Seong brings a “hands on” approach with extensive knowledge of various construction types and the sequence of construction. His experience proves to be invaluable during every project’s coordination process. Seong adheres to a rigorous review procedure and works closely and collaboratively with the different disciplines of the entire design team to ensure that the project is fully coordinated. 

His focus and drive throughout a project demand that every project be lead from design documentation to successful construction completion. Seong holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Hongik University from Korea and a Master of Architecture degree from Rhode Island School of Design.

Ken Dixon has over two decades of successful operations leadership experience. He has helped build and run numerous businesses – both as a full-time and as a fractional COO. Ken has led the scaling-up of operations and the management of performance and resource utilization to develop profitable and sustainably successful small and mid-sized creative services companies. As the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) Integrator & COO at Fusion, Ken focuses on implementing EOS to optimize and integrate Fusion’s planning, performance, and results.

Ken received his BA from Boston College in Communications & Political Science. He also attended leadership and executive development programs at Harvard University’s Executive Development Center; Babson College’s Executive Education Conference Center, Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, and Boston University’s Corporate Education Center.

Rachel has over 15 years of experience in commercial/workplace design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University. Prior to joining Fusion, she enhanced her skills at a leading furniture manufacturer specializing in space planning and design for the Northeast. She created designs for a wide range of projects including workplace, healthcare, and government. Blending a strong background in both interior design and project management, she excels at bringing design visions to life and has been recognized as a detail-oriented task master. 

When she’s not immersed in projects or engaged in industry events, you can find her exploring new places, spending time with friends (likely laughing a lot), skiing, and trying new restaurants.

Kali’s love of interior design evolved from an early interest in art, color, and the creative process. Kali has spent her entire 15+ year career with Fusion focusing on corporate design. She received her degree in Interior Design from the New England School or Art and Design at Suffolk University and joined Fusion the same year. With a fresh and innovative approach to design related problem solving, Kali has grown to be an integral member of the team. As senior interior designer, Kali’s favorite part of the design process is working collaboratively with clients to make their vision come to life. Kali is a LEED accredited professional and was honored to be among the first class of the Emerging Leaders program through IIDA.

In her free time, you can find Kali spending time with her husband and two daughters, walking her 3 dogs or holding a yoga pose. 

Grace brings over 15 years of experience leading interior design projects, with a primary focus on workplace environments. Her background also includes hospitality, multifamily, and high-end residential design, giving her a well-rounded perspective that enriches every project she takes on. 

By taking a big-picture approach to each project, she effectively meets client needs, identifies key opportunities, and addresses challenges with clarity and purpose. Her process is rooted in both creativity and precision, guiding projects from concept to completion with thoughtful intention. She  is passionate about crafting environments that blend form and function while thoughtfully aligning with the everyday experiences of the end user. Grace holds an Interior Design degree from Dawson College in Montreal.

Outside of work, Grace enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures with her husband and son. She also loves hot yoga, playing squash, and snowboarding.

Paul brings over 35 years of architectural and interior design experience. His responsibilities span all phases of architectural work, including independently planning and conducting work, modifying standard construction components and systems to execute design intent, and reviewing drawings and documents for code and ADA compliance.

He plans and schedules project phases ranging from small to large, mentors junior staff, and supports the development of future architects. Paul works collaboratively in cross-discipline environments to produce integrated project documents and ensure cohesive design approaches and solutions.

Designing interior stairs has become one of his specialties, coordinating closely with structural engineers during design, and later with steel fabricators and general contractors during construction. He is also proficient in AutoCAD.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design. He is a registered architect in the state of Massachusetts and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

In his spare time, Paul can be found working in his garden, playing tennis, skating at the ice rink, or building scaled plastic airplane models.

Sarah is a Designer and Project Manager with over 15 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from Suffolk University. She has led a diverse range of projects across the Commercial, Life Science, Healthcare, and Hospitality sectors. Her expertise spans programming, space planning, code analysis, budget management, and technical detailing - including research and interior detail development.

Sarah is passionate about designing spaces that are both functional and aligned with her clients’ needs, brand, mission, culture, and identity. Her additional academic background in law, holding a Master’s degree in Law and Jurisprudence from the University of Tel Aviv - gives her a strong understanding of the industry’s business, regulatory, and legal complexities.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and caring for her two cats.

Brittney Mayo

Katerina brings 8 years of experience working on a diverse range of interior design projects, including workplace, multi-family, high-end residential, and hospitality environments. She is particularly passionate about creating sustainable and human-centered spaces, with experience on WELL and LEED certified projects.

She holds a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from Suffolk University.

Outside of work, Katerina enjoys traveling, painting watercolor architectural sketches, and reading. She often shares these interests with her son, who frequently accompanies her on her adventures.

Lauren brings over four years of experience in commercial interiors, with a strong focus on workplace design. She is passionate about creating thoughtful, functional environments that enhance the user experience and reflect each client’s unique brand, culture, and goals.

She began her career in residential design, where she developed a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of how people interact with their environments. Her holistic approach blends creativity with technical precision across all phases of a project.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Environmental and Interior Design from Syracuse University and is a LEED Green Associate, underscoring her commitment to sustainable and responsible design.

When she’s not designing, Lauren enjoys spending her time traveling, cooking, skiing, and spending time in Maine with her family and friends.

With a strong foundation in architecture and design, Maria brings a proven track record of successfully delivering a wide range of projects. Her experience includes corporate interiors, retail prototype development, educational environments, and custom fixture design and documentation. She holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and a five-year Diploma from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She is also a registered member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE-TCG).

She finds deep fulfillment in producing detailed construction drawings and documentation - an aspect of her work she values as much as seeing her designs come to life in built form.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys building custom furniture for friends, listening to audiobooks on long walks through the city, and spending meaningful time with family and friends in Greece. 

Jillian brings nearly 5 years of experience in the design and construction industry, and recently switched gears to workplace design. As a Job Captain at Fusion, she has enjoyed being involved in design and coordination, as well as implementing production standards in the office.

Prior to joining Fusion, Jillian was an architectural project designer, where she was involved in all phases of complex life science ground-up design and conversion projects, as well as exterior shell improvements. 

Jillian holds a B.Arch from the University of Notre Dame, where she also studied furniture design.  During her 5 valuable years at ND, she studied traditional architecture in Rome and had a hand in outreach projects in both Navajo Nation and Greece. These combined perspectives have enhanced her desire to deliver thoughtful, custom design solutions to tenants, with beauty, adaptability and functionality at the forefront. 

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, home improvement projects, concocting new recipes and trying new restaurants and experience bars in the Boston area.
