When entering the building, you encounter the lobby, where we removed the existing staircase that connected the 1st and 2nd floors. This helped to create an open and more spacious room. We gave the lobby a Southwestern, industrial vibe to create a warm and more inviting feel as opposed to the previous corporate look. The moss was added to the elevator walls to liven up with additional color and greenery into the space.

After walking through the lobby, you reach the full-service café. We decreased the size of the seating area in the café after conducting a survey that found the current size to be too large for the current traffic and therefore an inefficient use of space. The café, as well as the lobby, received upgraded seating to accommodate diverse needs ranging from meetings and remote work to eating lunch and socializing. At the back of the café, we created a TV niche and seating area enhanced with a lower in-look ceiling and a large wall graphic to evoke a boutique feel.

We also completed a cosmetic refresh in the serving area adding new finishes, lighting, and updated millwork. The overall design has a mix of finishes that come together to create a modern, efficient and welcoming space.
